Shopping

So one would think starting over and buying furniture would be fun. That's what I thought.

We wanted nice furniture that was built well and would last.

We made the rounds to Ballard Designs, Pottery Barn, West Elm, La-z-boy, Restoration Hardware, Ethan Allen, Rooms to Go, and a local store.

Whew that was a lot of looking!

Nothing really said I'm the perfect sofa. I think spending a lot of money was overwhelming and thinking this sofa would have to be our sofa for at least 5 years factored in.

Another thing was it didn't make sense why things were priced so high. I'm sure that it's because it's made of better material. Was the $3500 sofa really good?

Same thing with bed frames. Like one I liked was $2800. Not including the mattress. Yikes. I don't think I'm ready to spend that kind of money until we buy a home.

So we looked at IKEA and felt like the selection was good and the prices fit our budget and temporary home. I don't know how long we will be here.

We still have a ton to but and decorating to do.

I'm adjusting slowly to a new life.

 Take care lovelies!
